Don't Forget Me: A New Musical
by James Stryska A new musical currently in development about a teenage girl coming to terms with her sexuality. When no one is accepting of her she decides to run away, where she comes across an LGBTQ+ homeless shelter. There she finally understands how tunnel visioned she's been all her life and learns the true effects of hatred. Don't Forget Me deals heavily with topics about sexual identity and LGBTQ+ youth homelessness. Don't Forget Me has been workshopped in two different locations, Greensboro, NC and Charlotte, NC.
